What's On for Bourne Free 2019?

Bourne Free Pride Festival is not far off.  The dates for your diary are 12th to the 14th July 2019.

The colourful theme for this year is 'Paint Your World With Pride', so expect all colours of the rainbow and lots more. Performers for 2019 include Sharon Needles, Mutya Buena, Shane Lynch & MC Big Ben, Big Brovaz & Booty Luv, Alison Limerick, Abz, Miss Jason, Brandon Block and many more.

What's On

Family Fun Night - Friday 12th July from 5pm
Held in The Triangle Arena, come and enjoy a family-friendly movie, under the stars, appropriate for all ages or sing along with great entertainment live on stage. Bourne Free’s Family Fun Night is a night for the entire family. Food stands and a fully stocked bar (adults only) will be available.
Admission is FREE and available for all! No wristbands are required.

The Pride Parade - Saturday 13th July at 11am
Starting at East Cliff, the pride parade is a celebration of equality and diversity in the Bournemouth community. Each year the parade is getting bigger and bigger with many local and national companies now taking part. Charities, support groups, statuary public organisations and lots of individuals of all genders, sexualities and races are also joining in the celebrations, why not join them this year?

The Bandstand - Saturday 13th July from 12.30pm
Enjoy free entertainment for everyone in the lower gardens Bournemouth. The Bandstand is where it all started, Bourne Free’s first ever event was held in the Lower Gardens in 2004. Since then the event have continued to provide a fun, exciting packed afternoon filling with entertainment, stalls and activities for everyone.

The Triangle Arena - Saturday 13th July from 12pm
From 12noon come and experience a day full of entertainment and celebrations in The Triangle on the Main Stage.
The Triangle Arena is where it all happen’s. Bourne Free have live entertainment on stage all day from your favourite drag artists to celebrities, tribute acts to local entertainers there’s something for everyone.
Wristbands are required for this event (The Saturday) and are only available to those over the age of 18. Valid photo ID maybe required when entering the arena.
Bourne Free was the first pride event in the UK to offer an NHS provided ‘Wellbeing’ tent, setup and ran by the friendly team at Over The Rainbow. This tent provides a safe place to visit for confidential advice and STI screening throughout the day.
Gaydar and Gaydar Girls will be attending and walking around the arena throughout the day, handing out freebies and posing for photo’s.

Sunday Celebration - Sunday 14th July from 11am
Join the annual Bourne Free Celebration Worship at 11am on Sunday 14th July, this years service will be held at: The Brewhouse & Kitchen, 152-154 Commercial Road, Bournemouth, BH2 5LU.
