Reece Pope, Vice-President for Welfare, told us more, "One of the South’s most outrageous drag act Ms. Lucinda Lashes will be leading the day’s entertainment, kick starting with a series of stalls and music to dance to inside and outside SUBU HQ. We’ll be meeting in AUB’s Courtyard for 12:30 to wave our flags of pride and show how damn special we are, and doing it with plenty of zazz and colour. Bring your own megaphone!"
The afternoon continues with an array of local LGBT friendly organisations coming to campus and celebrating with us, photographers, props, food, dancing, face painting - why be shy?
No Pride event can be complete without the mother of all after parties. So, Bournemouth Student Pride is taking over The Old Fire Station from 10pm for a night of glorious debauchery and questionable bright coloured shots.
Show your support for the LGBT community, whether it be at the parade, the stalls or at The Old Fire Station. Tickets not needed for the day, only for the after party. And those badboys can be bought online or at SUBU’s shop.
