Appeal after fail to stop collision by DYMK

At 4.30am on Sunday 24 August 2014 emergency services were called to Poole Hill following a report of a number of people being struck by a vehicle which had then driven off in the direction of Terrace Road toward the BIC.

A short time later, officers located the vehicle, a grey 318 BMW estate, which had been abandoned on the East Overcliff. The driver has been described as white, in his late twenties, about five feet six inches tall and of stocky build. He has short dark hair and wore dark clothing.

A 22-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man, both from Bournemouth, were taken to Poole Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The female victim sustained bruising to her body and the male victim a head wound.
