Metropolitan Community Church

Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) is an ecumenical Christian church that was founded in the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community. They strive to be a church that finds unity in our diversity. While not all members identify as GLBT, the church seeks to reach out to all persons who feel disenfranchised by Christianity especially GLBT persons.

They believe that all sexual orientations and gender identities are loved by God and should be welcomed completely into the Church.

Today, as self-aware and self-affirming people, we reclaim the fullness of our humanity, including ouspirituality and sexuality. MCC find great truth in the Christian tradition, and they find that the encounter with God is transformational and healing.
