WOW (Women Of Wessex)

Women Of Wessex  WOW (Women Of Wessex) are a well established local friendship and social group for lesbians.

They have many regular events including coffee mornings, a book group, quiz nights, lunches out and film/DVD nights in etc.

They have a bi monthly newsletter informing members of all the news and events and a great new website, which has a member forum.

Bournemouth Gay Girls

Bournemouth Gay Girls There is a new group just for the girls, it's called the Bournemouth Gay Girls (BGG) and is in it's early days of being established.

Who They are: A social community for lesbian and bi-sexual women in and around Bournemouth. This group will enable people to network through a wide variety of regular social events. 

Members: Whether you are new to Bournemouth or looking to socialise with new and like-minded people, we can ensure that this is the group for you.

Out Fit

Out FitOut-Fit is an outdoor fitness and activities group based in Bournemouth.

It initially started as a group of friends and is looking to welcome other like minded individuals of all sexualities, races and genders to join the group.

Exploring the coastline, forests, cycle routes and trails across Dorset and beyond.  Burning calories, building friendships, going places you haven’t been before and taking in some stunning sights along the way.  They will be organising walks, cycle rides and camping weekends, as well as jogging, swimming and Badminton as well.

New 50Plus Group

Coffee50PLUS is a new social group for gay / bi men over 50 years of age and their admirers.

Hosted in Hamilton Hall, Bournemouth, which is the only EXCLUSIVE  hotel for gay and bisexual men on the south coast. 

Coffee Mornings – every Wednesday between 10.30am – 1pm
£2 each with unlimited refreshments and biscuits etc.

The Pony Club

The Pony ClubThe Pony Club is a social networking group for lesbian, gay, bi and trans women in Dorset and the South.

It is also open to all those who feel an affinity with our community and their friends. It was set up by four pals fed up with the scene who wanted more variety for women. 

With events from live music, beach parties, walking the coast, pony trekking, and surfing - The Pony Club has something for everyone.

KissKiss n Make Up are a social group of TS/TVs their partners & admirers.

Meeting in Bournemouth, they hold social events for like minded people within a safe, social environment.

Bournemouth University LGBT

BU LGBTBournemouth University LGBT is a social and political society which works with the University, the Arts Institute, partnership colleges and the local community to raise and improve all issues involving its LGBT students.

The society has an elected commitee, that helps to organise social events and campaigns, who regularly meet to discuss LGBT issues and have regular socials on the Bournemouth gay scene as well as other exciting locations.

The Dinner Ladies

Dinner LadiesThe Dinner Ladies is a social group for gay women living in Southsea/Portsmouth.

They meet up once a month in local restaurants. They are a non-scene group for couples and singles who are over 25. Their emphasis is on good company, good wine, and good food (in that order).

MSC Bournemouth

LeatherMSC Bournemouth is a social group set-up mainly for Gay Men into Leather, Rubber, Uniform, Denim, Skinhead, Western and Biker gear / lifestyle.

Lesbians are welcome to join, however we currently have no lesbian members. MCB is a member of ECMC and FUKC, The European Confederation of Motorcycle Clubs and The Federation of UK Clubs.

GFC Bournemouth

FootballGFC Bournemouth was formed in the summer of 2005 in order to give gay footballers in the Bournemouth area the chance to play the game with like-minded people on a regular basis.

Their core activity is ‘park football’, which takes place on a Sunday at least twice a month. Everyone is welcome, regardless of ability.
